The E. H. Mott Learning Center, in partnership with parents and the community, will create a new path to learning for learners who are incapacitated by social, emotional, behavioral or specific learning disabilities.
The E. H. Mott Learning Center is a private, non-profit (501(c)3) learning center that exists to offer learners who are challenged by certain “invisible” disabilities a positive learning environment that encourages high expectations for success, using emotional intelligence as a primary change agent.
E. H. Mott Learning Center strives to help learners from kindergarten through adulthood become confident and creative builders of their own future. We aspire to cater to each individual learner as a human resource and a valued contributor to the world. We work toward an integrated curriculum that reaches across disciplines and disabilities. We petition learners to meet academic and life challenges with openness, enthusiasm, and a belief that given the best and most appropriate interventions, a direct path to victory is inevitable. Our focus is to get success seekers to reinvent, reignite or rehabilitate their way of thinking and doing to develop their internal and external assets in a way that will help them reduce barriers that limit their potential for positive outcomes at home, school and in the community.
